time: 7:30am-3:45pm
total: 8hrs & 15min
Location: Claire Lillienthal Middle school
Mentor: Ms. Karen Hadley
This cold day started as any other cold day.... freezing!!! Any way. This morning my mentor Ms. Karen Hadley was in the auditorium of the school. You might remember this from when Ms. Hadley had to teach the lower division anti-bullying in my blogs. So i went into the auditorium and as i was about to enter there were these balls that kept on flying around the room like missles. Of course they were playing dodgeball. So as anyother wle day i aske Ms. Hadley what i should do today and she said that the 6th graders had a field trip, an outdoor ed experience. So i basicly did a lot of errands almost in this part of the day i was running back and forth getting Ms. Hadley and my Science teacher Ms. Eller an update on what i need to do and what is happening. The sixth graders wern't so bad at being quiet part but i would have to say it was kind of the same but mostly i thought that they were excited to go out on a field trip for three days. I saw a few students who was aware of every precaution when they arrive, and i find it funny because those few people was just like myself when i was in sixth grade, that i was trying to be the most safe as possible whiule still having fun.
Afterwards i got another assignment to organize all the balls in the P.E room which i didn't mind doing because i did it when i was in 7th grade. I just liked helping out all the teacher back then. So I had to organize and fill up air in the basket balls test them to see if they were bad or not and if they were good id put them back. But i only had around 1 hr to finish as much as i could and to tell you the truth the time went zooming by. During the last 15 minutes of that time i got help from a few nice and generous student that made the prosseces a lot faster.
During luch Ms. Hadley told her students that she wanted for them to make a game and the winner would get a jamba juce and/or a lunch with Ms. Hadley. So i asked if i could join in as well because i picked up an idea while i was organizing all the balls. So i startered to create this design that would be flawles... okay i wish it would be flawless, icouldn't figure out a perfect name with it so i just combind the two objects it was about and it is called Flag Scoop catchy right.
Alas! the day ended with the track practice. So i didn't have much to do at this point so i got to watch and help the high jumpers. which was exciting. What will happen next time on Alexander's wle adventure.

Day 3
time: 7:45am-4:00pm
Total: 8hrs
Location: Claire Lillienthal Middle school
Mentor: Ms. Karen Hadley
This day seemed different then all the other days that i have been working in my wle. first it seemed a bit slower then usual that day. I was about to go to my mentors bungalow to get started on work but then i just remembered that i need to get a visitor badge with me and my forgetfulness and all. this day was pretty sweet and all but again to short for some reason.
Anyway i started the day off by PAPER SHREDDING i thought that was really fun for most of the day.I also did a few organizing like for the track teams agility course, also including with a few errands. Then the day ended with a track practice and i got to see some of the kids who were going to do the high jumping.

Day #2
time: 7:45am-4:00pm
Total: 8hrs & 15min
Location: Claire Lillienthal Middle school
Mentor: The one and only Ms. Karen Hadley!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Good Day everybody! As you might have already guessed this is my second blog post of my W.L.E (by now you should know what it means). In the morning it was sudden , shocking(a little), and also a bit exciting that day. My mentor Ms. Karen Hadley came rushing to her bungalow and told me that she had to go teach the lower house in the cafeteria about anti-bullying lesson to them and that she had to go leave for most of the day. But of course I have to have another teacher in the class room because I don't know all the students and the vibe of the class rooms yet, so I had two substitutes that day. The first substitute stuck by for some time but later on she had to go somewhere. Probably important... Important enough TO LEAVE ME STRANDED!!!! Nah just kidding but while she was around.. by the way I'm not so good at names... the class was inside again because it was wet outside and Ms. Hadley didn't want to get all the balls wet, so the class with the first sub either watched a movie (Horton Hears a Who, or Drum Line) and the other group played Guitar Hero 3 which I generously brought in that day (Marrissa Sonkin knows if you dont believe me).
When the second sub came in to help me with the class... again I am terrible with names so bear with me please. Thank you. The next classes which I think was around two to one period before lunch time was kind of loud but not as loud as the classes in the morning. Also these classes played Guitar Hero and I brought in cheat codes for them to play their favorite song but when I tried to punch in the code nothing poped up, so my first reaction was that I wrote it down wrong. So I went in the bungalow next to ours and used their computer for a minute while the sub was looking after the kids, and with my awsome skills and *cough* luck i managed to find the codes I have been looking for... Yeye party! I managed to save the world for 7th and 8th gradetrs dominating the world with chaos and distruction. So thats pretty much what I did before lunch came into play, and when lunch did come, as naughty as I am when everyone left I was the only one in the room, I picked up my guitar and started rocking out!

WLE First Day
7:50am- 4:00pm
total time: 8hrs 10min
Location of WLE:
Claire Lillienthal Middle School
February 25 was my first WLE (short for Workplace Learning Experience). When i got to the school it was rainig and i thought that this day would be a drag. Shortly after my mentro Ms. Karen Hadley shows up and we chat a bit for five minutes and then i got staight to work by garding the 7th graders CPR tests. I could tell that there were some students thinking to much on the test and missing some of the questions when the answer was givin to them by Karen herself.I am not so good at test myself and when it gets to much for me i tend to think a lot about it and get the wrong answer even if the question is'nt that hard. Anyway while i was grading the papers the class got to see a movie and play wii sports because it was raining outside and Ms. Hadley didn't want to hastle with wet balls. The two movies that we wtched were horton has a who and a basket ball movie. At lunch Hadley treted me to lunch (which i thought was generous of her to do so).

When school was over i decided to stay and help out their track team. It was mostly about watching them so they wont get hurt and also to encourage them to run or atleast to jog so my mentor wont be the only one to nag on them ^_^. Any who i thought that this day went well for the first day of WLE and hoping it will go well or even better next week. until next time on Alexanders WLE blogging March 4th. Peace out.p.s track runners work harder... ^_^
