Day 8

Time:7:45-3:20
Total:7hrs and 35min
Location: Claire Lillienthal...

Today i started with Ms. Hadleys class in helping with the tennis courts setting up like the boundries and what nots. So when i was about to go inside her bungalow and she told me that Candy needs my help for a little bit... And that little bit becomes for the rest of the day almost. So i went to the office and continue what i was finishing from last weeks assignment. I took down the rest of the 7th graders art piece and went to each of the two classes 7a and 7b. While is was organizing the art work into two different piles and science teacher ms. Delwitch i believe came into the office and told us to come out side for a moment and look into the sky. He told us that this is the day that venus and the moon is visible directly from eachother and that we can see it with our naked eye... At first i had to use the telescope and he told Cany and i that the moon is barley visible, and it looked like a finger nail also venus was way much harder to see, for me it took some time to spot it with the naked eye but once you find it it is easy to spot it. Venus looked like a tiny speck and every time i looked up for some time i saw stars, not the ones in the sky but when you loo up for quite some time or when you get dizzy some times. Afterwards i lost track of the time and his class was comming outside to see the moon and venus and i just forgot to stay on track... whoops... i gave him my thanks and ran straight to the office and into the rrom that the 7th graders were suppossed to be in but when i asked the teacher she said it was 8th grade class. But she told me it was passing period and a student told me which classes 7a and 7b were in. I delivered them and went straight to my next assignment. My next assignment was organising and adding up all the tickets for a rafle 10 in each pile, also i had to sharpen 288 pencils for standerdized tesiting, (Candy gvave me some coffee though so dont tell parents). it took quite some time before lunch started and Ms hadley treated Candy, herself, other teachers as well and of course my self...(i feel like a king getting spoiled ^_^). After lunch i continued and finished the tickets and papers and at the end i found a pencil with no lead in it, talk about ironic. The day is almost over and so i helped with the high jumpers for the track team and also taking more time to take the mats and the bars down. At the end i got a nice treat from Candy.
